Fantasy Football Podcast 2016 - Week 9 Matchups, Election Results, In-or-Out

If there's some injuries, if Benjamin doesn't play, Tyro Williams is $5,600. Two of his last year games have been bad, but again, against Denver, he saw what he did against Atlanta, 140 yards on seven grabs. And then Inman is $5,500, 13 targets in the last two weeks. So there are a couple of little sneaky plays there if there's no Benjamin. I don't think he's going to play. Love it. Let's move over to the running back position. How are you addressing it?

I'm just, it's kind of chalk, actually. I know West, Tarkandric West is going to be popular. You've got to keep that in mind. If you're playing it ahead-to-head or 50-50s, you're most likely going to go up against West, $5,600. He was okay last week, 14 for 52, a couple catches. Looks like, well, actually it is. Nick Foles is going to play, a lot of checkdowns.

West was good last year, over four yards for carry. He had three games in a row with three touchdowns when he was the guy. Devante Booker is a little bit more expensive, but 80 total yards in the last two games, two touchdowns. He caught five balls last week against Oakland. And then Zeke, again, this might be the game script where he just runs a lot, especially in the second half. I'm sure Alfred Morris is going to get sprinkled in there. But at $9,200, you're going to have to pay up, but it's a great match against Cleveland. That guy just runs so hard. And then in another tournament play,

You can go theoretic, three games over 20 plus points, and six games this season. He's got 43 targets and 34 catches. I like him a lot at $6,600. Spolz is not a guy you can trust, but it seems like he's the guy that Doug Peterson likes and not Ryan Matthews. Yeah, it's been much maligned on this show. All right, let's strap on the sewer boots. Let's wade through the tight ends. What are you doing? We know Jordan Reed is on by, so one of the big dogs is out. Are you just, is this gronk or die?

Yeah, well, Gronk is out too. Gronk's out. Of course, everybody's out. The NFL, what are you doing to me? What are you doing to me? And this is why I think I'm so bummed about. I mean, Mike, we've talked about this all year about how the tight-in positions has been so bad. And then you got Rito, Eifred out, Gronk out. Yeah, so Ulster Buss, that's what I meant. That's what I meant to say, of course. Yeah, they're all out. So.

Pinn has got the most targets without a tight end, without a touchdown. That's not bad. Kelsey was good last week, 10 targets, 7 catches, 101 yards. Nick Foles, I mentioned him. Maybe he relies on his tight end a little bit. I'm going a little bit deeper. The narrative on Detroit, it's actually a thing. Eight touchdowns allowed. We saw C.J. Fedorich get a touchdown last week. Rudolph is a decent play at 5, but I'm going to go just a bare minimum. I hate this position. I know you hate it, too. $4,500 is the minimum for Lance Kendricks. I know it's not great. Oh.

This is what we're talking about here, the tight end position. 15 targets, 12 grabs, 89 yards, a touchdown his last two weeks. He's got seven plus targets in three of his last four games. Maybe there's something there. Case Keenum is not great. Carolina is good at stopping the run, but they've had some issues with, you know, stopping the pass. So maybe there's something there with Kendricks. I mean, who knows? It's $4,500. Yeah, all right. I like that approach. And then do you have any tight end, or I'm sorry, defenses that you like this weekend?

Yeah, I'm just paying up. Bortles, I mentioned how awful he's been. So, KCD, Denver D against Oakland. I know Oakland was so good last year, but you can't just rely on, you know, Cooper and Crafter to have games last year. Week 16, I mean, Cooper had eight targets, zero catches against that defense. So Oakland, probably going to struggle against Denver, Dallas against Cleveland. And I like the Eagles. I've been liking them all year. I mean, they just score points, 12.6 fantasy points per game on Fandul. And that's the second most of anybody going this week, and the most is Minnesota.

Save a little bit of dough. You can do that with Philadelphia at $4,600. Love it. The Foot Clan, I'm sure, is very happy that you are back. Thank you for joining us.
