Now both of those guys could legit lead their teams and targets. I think they're both players I'd be fighting for as of right now. Yeah. But, you know, at the time of you saying it, that wasn't the case. Right. Anyways. We obviously saw it coming. Baltimore, new head coach, new offensive coordinator.

It's wild. We had the show we were talking about Rico Dowdle going to Pittsburgh, right? And how I still cannot process moves to Pittsburgh without seeing Mike Tomlin's face and how he will treat the offense. Same thing as with Harbaugh here in Baltimore. I feel like those two stalwarts for so many years, it's really hard to process how a team functions when you've seen Baltimore and what they've done. And all of a sudden it's Jesse Minter. All of a sudden is Declan Doyle, that offensive coordinator. Declan Doyle. Are you, is that a comment on his name? Yeah, Doyle rules. Well, yeah, there is. I just, that's, that's, it's intense. Declan. He is. Declan. 30. Get over here, Declan. You're grounded. He's 30 years old. Oh, he can still be grounded. He can still be grounded for sure. He rides his bicycle to work. You know, obviously Sean McVeigh was 30 years old when he got hired as, as a head coach. So he's very interesting.

um well regarded but uh i don't know i like you know this guy played madden you know what i mean like you know he like yesterday yesterday last night he was playing madden i want that the big concern i have right now and mike you've you've shared it when we've talked about losing patrick ricard and lindenbaum lindenbaum their offensive line yeah you know you this was by the way deckland doyle was the offensive coordinator for the Bears last year. Yeah. No, no, we like that. He drew up that sweet fourth downplay where, uh, where, where, where, where, where, where, where, where, where, where, where, where, where, yeah, and chucked it. That was all him. Amazing work. Um, defensive coordinator. That's what, Jesse Minner was the defensive coordinator of the, uh, 24 and 25. But the offensive line is, is, is concerning. Yes. You know, they, they, they, they lost Isaiah likely in free agency.

another you know one of the more explosive weapons yes mark andrews is under contract he's in the sunsetting part of his career day flowers is there baitman but i i just think it is thank goodness they have their first round pickback because they could really use an old lineman yeah and another first round pickback from the next year and let's be honest we'd all rather have two first round picks and hendrickson for sure then we would max crosbie and no first round picks But, you know, you don't get to like, you don't get to go all the way to the end. I think you do, man. Everybody, everybody is so big mad at the Ravens. And I'm like, you should be. I'm like, good for you. You make your team better. You did what you should do. If I was a Ravens fan, I'd be like, sucks for you. I mean, it does suck for all the teams that were like, they went out and spent money, like the Raiders and.

the cowboys who wanted Max Crosby, now they can't get them because they signed other guys. I mean, it's within the rules. Yeah, it's. So it's now a matter of do those teams want to do. It did make their team better. I saw, I saw immediately like that the entire NFL is going to have a hard time like working with the Ravens of this. No, they're not. No. If a deal makes sense for a team, they're going to work with the Ravens again. This feels like a fantasy trade, though, where. And we've been down this road with certain people where the deal is like a handshake deal or it's almost done and then they get the reaction of the league. Oh, yeah. And then they go, let's put the poll up. What do you guys think? You like this deal? And then you get the reaction and you get to go, nah. That's Bush League. That's what this is. That's, nah. This is Bush League. Oh, it was, yeah. Fantasy. There's no question this is Bush League. It was the correct move for the Baltimore Ravens and it was Bush League. I can agree with that. Yeah.

Okay. Buffalo, new head coach, new offensive coordinator. They were 12 and 5 last year. Why not change your head coach and your offensive coordinator? And then keep your offensive coordinator. That's right. Joe Brady becomes the head coach, which is good. I think it was the right move. They hit their cap with McDermott? Yeah. Yeah, no, I can see that. And we'll, I mean, it's going to bear itself out this year. They already made the move for DJ more. But this was a run first team, Joe Brady. There is stability, right? Normally when you lose your offensive coordinator, or rather your head coach, you have massive instability. It's not good for fantasy players to not know what to expect. You can know what to expect on this team. For James Cook, for Josh Allen, you have the same guy, and they were a run first team. They led the NFL with 109 rush attempts inside the red zone. Joe Brady, 36 years old.

This isn't really a coaching change. I mean, for fantasy football. Right. For us, it isn't. For us, it is not a coaching change at all. The offense is being run. Joe Brady called plays last year. Joe Brady's calling plays this year. It'll have someone additional to help him design and run stuff. It was a defensive-minded head coach at the top prior to this. So this is just more of the same. Personally, I love this for fantasy. I don't think it's a... I don't think it was the right move or higher for the bills, but I get why they did that. And really, we can't look at this team and say anything different about what to expect from the offense. Other than the loss of- Yeah, Gilliam. Full-back Gilliam is gone. They lost their left guard as well. So those are, I mean, just like the Ravens will have some question marks at the O line, as will the Buffalo Bills.

Sixth, I think. Yeah, they had a very strong line. And so you would, being that strong of a unit already, they should be able to figure it out. But those, those things matter. This is also a deeper offensive line draft. They don't necessarily have like the one superstar elite tackle that's, you know, the number one pick. But I think that these teams will be taking linemen in the first. Jason, we didn't get your, let's get your couple moment. Reaction to DJ Moore to Buffalo. I mean, I adored that move for literally everyone, only from a fantasy football standpoint. Contracts and price don't matter to me. So is it good for Josh Allen? Yes. Is it good for DJ Moore? It's he's probably the biggest winner because he looked dead for the Bears. And then and then you look at the Bears. You go, okay, Colson Loveland.

has the opportunity to be the number one target or Luther Burden or Roma Dunes. Like, it hurt nobody. Like Caleb is not a down arrow losing DJ Moore, but Josh Allen is an up arrow. So, and it, the only person it may be hurt, so like, Khalil Shakir, don't care. Well, in 2024, so two years ago, Alan was the first top five fantasy quarterback that didn't have a top 36 wide receiver because Shakir was 38th. He did it again last year. Two consecutive years where he didn't have a top 36 wide receiver option. I do not believe that happens this year. I think DJ Moore will easily finish in the top 36. Yeah, I think you're probably right. So that's the lay of the land with the Buffalo Bills. Why not talk about the Cleveland Browns who lose Kevin Stefansky? They got a new head coach. It's Todd Monkin, the offensive coordinator out of Baltimore. Stay in indivision. They were 5 and 12 last year. They punted the ball the most in the NFL. 93 times.

That's Defansky. That's true. Todd Monkin comes in 60 years old. I don't know the 60 year old stats. It's not going to work, man. This is not. Look, I know we all like Todd Monkin from a fantasy standpoint. He likes to air it out. Play fast. Do great things as I call. What's my age again? Honestly, I didn't realize that's what that drop was. Yeah. I thought that was the actual song. 60-year-old first-time head coach for the Browns who don't have a quarterback in place. It's just this is a placeholder for two years. That drop had not been used since 2017, by then. Let me give you some sweet stats about old dudes taking over. Eight first-time head coaches over the last 25 years that were or older.

They averaged 6.4 wins in year one, and only Mike Zimmer and Bruce Ariens lasted more than three years. This feels like a lifetime achievement award. Right. I'm happy for Monkin. He will be able to tell his grandkids that are now 20 in their 30s, maybe, that he was a head coach. That's so mean. It's so mean. But seriously, dude. That's, I mean, congrats. Yeah, I mean, Manken was desired to go with Harbaugh. That was, you know, that was the intent. But then he had the opportunity to land a head coach deal in his 30s. And he will probably be the OC for Harbaugh again in the near future. The Raiders changing. Should we talk more about?

the Browns and what to expect on offense, maybe for a moment here. Their offensive line was 31st. They have Quinn Sean Jenkins injured. He'll be coming back. The entire offensive line is changing over this offseason. Their quarterback is. Deshawn Watson, maybe? I mean, right now, I think the answer should do her Sanders. Yeah, it's one of those two. Yes, the answer is Sanders, but if you get to camp and it's Gabriel Sanders Watson, I think, and it's actual. competition, not a, we're just going to give the job to Sanders to see if he can do it. If they go with who is the best right now, Watson will win the job. Man, Watson was real bad, though. He was. I mean, he was, he was, he was, certifiably the worst in the league. It was not a Pro Bowl or like Shadoor. We talked about this back in the day when it was, when it was first happening, it's hard to remember how good Deshaun Watson was. He was, right, there was a reason.

that amidst all the allegations, he was given... 90 million guaranteed or whatever? Given unbelievable... He was given over $200 million. Yeah, it's $200 million. 100% guaranteed. It was 100% guaranteed contract. And Picks. And Picks. Yes. Because he was that good. How much was it? It's, yeah. It was... What were they thinking? And they weren't alone. The Falcons tried to get... That's how good he was. But I remember bringing this up. Like, sometimes these are human beings like Tiger Woods. Tiger Woods was unstoppable. And then he had a personal issue. 230. And it was like, you're just not the same player again. And Deshaun Watson has never, he never got back to being done. He was one of the worst players I've ever seen. Playing the position. I mean, I don't think it's impossible. It should do or beats him. But if I had to call my shot right now with the first time head coach, I think it will be. So with all of that in mind, Harold Fanon Jr. Can he overcome? I mean, he played with the same crappy options last year and was awesome. Yeah. Las Vegas.

New head coach, new offensive coordinator. They're making moves this offseason. They acquired Max Crosby recently from the Baltimore Ravens. No, Clint Kubiak. I'm excited. Yeah. I think this was the best hire of the off season. You're going to get Fernando Mendoza with the number one overall pick. First thing you do after Cubes comes in the door is you get a center to upgrade a changes line. The best center. I mean, this is. It's not hard, man. Just good football maneuvers. Yeah, I mean, an offensive line makes mediocre players good. Everything better. Good players great. Great players. Legendary. Fix the offensive line. I think the real question. Great things will happen for your team. You're going to have a, we know it will be an improved run game. You're going from the nepotism failure.

of Pete Carroll's son as the offensive line coach that was reported to be just an abysmal catastrophe and the office of line stunk to a cube. Reported by my eyes. Yeah. To a cubes led run game that we know is good. An upgraded offensive line with a center we know is good. And then you've got Ashen Gentie there. But you also have a clear and obvious want. desire declaration for a running back by committee situation. So that will be like the coaching change here. Is it an up arrow for Genti? Yes. For me it is. For me, I'm all in on Genti. Really? Yeah, I am. I am not. And I said this when that report came out about the committee. I'm not convinced that, you know, I put zero stock in the just because it wasn't the guy that they drafted. This is a top five pick. I think Gentis got the goods.

I think you need, he's the best player on the offense outside of Bowers, right? I mean, this is, it's him and Bowers right now. You sound like me talking about Walker. Other than the top five. I can't give you the top five pick part of the argument, but yeah. No, I, I, look, if the sentiment is negative around Gentile, he'll end up on my guy. It's not, that's what's going to end up happening. I don't think it should be negative, but they're, we just, as of right now, you still have to wait because the, who is the RB2? They. There's no one on the team right now. At least there shouldn't be a player on the team who takes a ton of notable. There's nobody that is going to matter to me. They're not drafting Jeremiah Love. And once you go beyond Jeremiah Love, I'm not going to care about the name that you tell me. They have too many needs to take like a second round pick on Coleman, which would be just about it. I mean, I agree. I was worried when that news came out. If you told me it was Aaron Jones, I'd have been like, oh, crap. A little bit of.

Oh, crap. With, yeah, with Aaron Jones being gone, Tyler Algier being gone. There's no free agents left to really come in and compete and split. So I don't, I don't disagree. Andy, I do think it is an arrow up. We'll take a break. We'll talk Miami. All right, it's Malik Willis's team, the Miami Dolphins, brand new head coach, brand new offensive coordinator. Bobby Sloick, welcome back to the prime time. It worked so well in Houston. Jeff Hayfully taken over Mike McDaniel era over in Miami. They make the splash on Malik Willis. Jason, we didn't get to hear the thoughts. Malik Willis to Miami. It was your pick. That was the one that you hit. And he basically said at the press conferences because of those guys. He just knew these guys from his time and the Packers. I don't know, man. It's hard for me. I know you're in on Malik Willis as a talent. You believe in him.

You made that really clear. I'm not there. I don't think we've seen enough to know if he is really actually good or not. That much is a guaranteed truth. Like whether you believe or not, we definitely haven't seen enough to be like proven. Yeah. And they gave him a lot of money. And they kind of, they acted like it was proven. So I don't view this as necessarily smart. I also think it'll be a down arrow. You know, you bring in a defensive head coach and Bobby Slowick as the offensive coordinator and a mobile quarterback. I don't think this is going to be great for the Jalen Wattle type, just the passing volume I would not expect to be. I would think that their plan is going to come in here and improve the defense, run the ball better.

you know that's that's probably their best player is arrow up for a chan for you it not really because i think i think it'll be neutral because it's the the receiving game will probably go down for him as the you know rushing attempts go up for the team so i'm not i'm not like anti this but i'm not excited for here's the nice thing for a chan this was a 29th ranked offensive line that he produced at the level that he did last year. A, I mean, he's an A consistency, probably the most consistent running back. Yeah, he was the only one that did not have a bust game. I mean, dolphins right now are the team directly behind the Cardinals with the highest odds to finish last. So that's not great. No. I don't love either higher, but I do think that Malik Willis for fantasy will be very good. I think that's where I'm pretty... But just for him. You've got the cheat code for Malik Willis.

And I think Jalen Waddle without Tyreek Hill, it's pretty clear he's going to be the, I mean, he's going to be the linchpin of the offense, right? I know, are they bringing back the Walrus? Kidding. I doubt it. Nah. Yeah, I mean, not, I mean, I don't know. I don't know how the Miami fans are feeling right now. They pick at 11. Slowick was like, I mean, to be clear, he was the head coaching candidate. Oh, yeah. He was on fire because rookie sensation, you know, CJ Stroud was like, oh, man, the offense and. It was him and Ben Johnson. They were the two hot commodities. He should have taken a job. Well, I mean, it worked for Ben Johnson to not take the job. They both went back. Turns out Ben Johnson was good. Right. And then you had the next year of Sloak with C.J. Stratt and you went, what happened? I will be curious to see if Miami spends some picks on some of the top tier wide receiver talent. That would be, if you add another big name here, it's going to make it really hard. Like you said, if the passing volume isn't where it was before.

And you add a bigger, a Denzel Boston or Concepcion or something or even somebody higher. Because they pick at 11. I mean, they could get Tyson. They could end up with one of the big three. Tate, something like that. Not impossible. That'll be something to watch. But the Giants, four and 13 last year, fourth in the NFC East. Hello, John Harbaugh. Yeah. You sad? I just you would. You're sad at Madaggy. Yeah. I mean, it's like. Yeah, what is, what is that? expound on your because that's how the higher feels to me it was like oh well this guy just is such a long tenured coach of course we need we got to get this guy in you're like and he's been fine like the ravens have been fine you know what i mean of it and i would he's older than monkin and i would say yeah but he's not a first he's a very no i'm aware but it's the like that team

feels like they really, for who he had, you had a quarterback. I mean, very few teams actually have a quarterback. You have a true franchise quarterback in Lamar, and you really, really underperformed. So that's where it feels more of a, eh. This is, I don't feel like I've heard this from you yet. I mean, you've been working through, because you love Jackson Darcy, scataboo, you love neighbors. I feel like this is a bit of a resignation to, like you'd love to believe differently. Yeah. In terms of the players, I still believe in them. And I still believe in Jackson Dart. You just don't get the, like your pit crew is not nearly as strong as it could have been for them. It doesn't mean you can't still be solid and great for fantasy. But with Harbaugh as the head coach, and then Matt Nagy is just the...

What? He's gonna say the worst. Oh, just the worst. Was it reported that Cliff Kingsbury was coming here at one for a minute? Yeah, for a moment. Yeah. And then it was like, oh yeah. Sing it in the streets. Yeah. And he's like, gotcha. It's he took the mask up. A budget. Nagy. Yeah. Who failed as a head coach and then goes to the Kansas City chiefs and their office just falls apart. The Giants were very good when Dart was on the field last year. They were only minus 13 and 12 starts in terms of point differential. They were minus 47 without him. He is a really good player and the offensive line is good. And if they add to it at the fifth pick and they don't go Jeremiah Love, which I don't think they will. I mean, they were the ninth ranked offensive line last year. Like perhaps the Giants. He protecting this dude that is already trying to hurt himself. Maybe the Giants at the while everything was going off, they.

didn't feel confident they could get Lafleur or Kubiak in so they just were like, well, let's get what we are well respected person that we think can turn the program around. I just feels a little disrespectful to John Harbaugh to categorize him as an inferior hire to Michael Flore. Well, I'm calling it an inferior hire because we know who Harbaugh is. We don't know who Matt LaFleur is yet. But I think that's exactly why they hired. I think we know that he's good. That's why you hire. While you're disappointed that you didn't get a Super Bowl win and you didn't necessarily. I'm saying the Lamar Jackson era of the Ravens has been disappointing only in the playoffs. He has not been disappointing in the regular season. I mean, they've been one of the most dominant teams over the last five years. Super Bowl odds very high. They have disappointed in the playoffs. But I think, you know, for fantasy football, I think you can get a lot out of this team.

Glass half full perspective needs to be the way that Vrable performed with New England. Like Vrable came in, he was struggling. It's culture. In Tennessee, and he changed the entire culture of the organization. That's what I look at with Harbaugh. It's like the struggles for Vrable were much more significant than Harbaugh at the end of his tenure there to where he's not bringing in majestic play calling. Maybe you get that with the floor. You get some kind of special. Offense. And that's where you look at Nagy and you can't get excited about offense. Right. I completely understand and see that, but I want this team in games. I want this team in games that matter as the season goes on. And by goodness, please make Camp Scataboo relevant again. Yes. They did. I'm looking at this offense. It's Scataboo. They have Tracy, right? Mm-hmm. They paid for Singletary this offseason. That's not a team ready to bring in another body. That's smoke. That's a smoke screen.

The whole word looking at Jeremiah Love, not happening. The Pittsburgh Steelers are now coached by Mike McCarthy. I say the same thing for him. And their offensive coordinator is Brian Angelico, who's replacing Arthur Smith. Replacing Arthur Smith sounds great. Yeah. We can get on board with that. We had some great times in Dallas with Mike McCarthy. Who's their quarterback? That's not important. Oh, okay. That's silly me. But it's Kirk Cousins. Really? I mean he's who's left who's left and unless it's Aaron Rogers or it's Kirk or it's Howard which you would think if I would think if it were Rogers in your and you're the Pittsburgh Steelers you can't do it again right you can't just be held hostage by Aaron Rogers oh yeah you can no you can't you don't have another choice

You've volunteered for a hostage situation. You went in and you strapped your arms together and you locked the door behind. Hey, uh, Raiderski. Yeah, you tighten this for me. It was good for fantasy with McCarthy in Dallas with CD Lamb. We got an amazing Wider Super 1 CD Lamb year with Mike McCarthy. Jack Prescott was good. There is a bit of the same argument for Mike McCarthy that you can make with the hardball hire and the variable higher. It's a kind of a stabilizing presence.

Not an inspiring play-calling situation, but Arthur Smith was frustrating as well. I mean, you've got Michael Pittman. Pity City. Now in Pittsburgh, you've got D.K. McCaff. You've got a quarterback at some point. Are you mostly negative, mostly positive? What's the view of this higher? I'm fine with the hire personally. From a fantasy football perspective, Mike McCarthy can get enough out of the passing. It really comes down to the quarterback. Like, you know, I'm not, I don't look at the Steelers and say, this is a downgrade for fantasy football bringing Mike McCarthy in to replace Mike Tomlin. To me, at, you know, it's a wash is how I view it. And I'm hopeful that maybe it actually is an improvement. They'll play a little faster, throw the ball a little more. But it really, they can't do that if they don't have a quarterback. And honestly, they don't have a quarterback. Because I don't think Aaron Rogers is good enough.

Kirk Cousins probably isn't good enough. What are you supposed to do when you're 10 and 7 and you won your division? Because if you won your division and you succeeded and these are your quarterback options, like rebuilding, you don't have a pick for that. Yeah, it's tough. I don't think there's an answer here. That's not Russell Wilson. We know that from years gone by. Tennessee, 3 and 14 last year. Full overhaul. There were 30th and points per game. I think we talked about it last week. Cam Ward was much, much better over the back half of the year. Ten touchdowns, one pick over the last 10 games. Robert Sala takes over. Brian Davel, offensive coordinator, maybe back where he belongs, you could say. As an OC. Certainly where his blood pressure medicine wants him. I mean, that dude, that dude went through it in New York. Because he did have, he had the combination of like not doing well and really having some terrible luck. Yeah. Oh, for sure. For sure.
