be tough between the tackles. So he is kind of locked into that role before the return of Henry. And it's so delightful. Like it is that the Achilles has, this is our first, at least mine, my first real opportunity seeing somebody successfully come back from that injury and have relevance in not only in the NFL but in fantasy football. I mean this. At the running back position. At the running back position. This gives hope.

14:49 ↗

for the dynasty value, the long-term value of Cam Acres. Yeah, I think Cam Acres is going to make it back and be all right. I really hope so. That was where there's smoke. There's fire brought to you by Trager Grills. Grilling season never ends with Trager. Go to Trager.com slash footballers. News and notes from around the league presented by Sleeper. We did have the updated injury news, which was really unfortunate that Chris Godwin indeed tore his ACL. So the initial report was an MCL sprain.

15:24 ↗

It's an ACL and he was a franchise player this past year. Yes, that sucks so much for the man to be without. Chris Godwin deserved a gigantic contract. It feels like he was a victim of last year's all the COVID stuff where it shrunk the salary cap and teams just weren't giving out really big deals. So now he has to convince a team.

15:52 ↗

coming off of a torn ACL at the end of the season, like normal recovery time, it would be shocking to see Chris Godwin ready to start the season. I mean, he's a player that a team will have to give a contract to knowing you won't have him for the first month. Yeah, it's really unfortunate. And then obviously in Dynasty and Keeper leagues, it's going to make decisions more difficult. Elijah Mitchell update, he has cleared concussion protocol. That wasn't what I was worried about. Right. Dealing with the knee injury, game is Thursday night.

16:23 ↗

So if he can't turn it around, can't be active in that game, it's going to be Jeff Wilson and it's going to be Debo in the backfield. And maybe Al has one of those guys. Maybe I have the other one. You have Zach Taylor saying Joe Mixen suffered an ankle sprain in week 15. We'll monitor that. A.J. Brown, I mentioned returning from Indured Reserve. They have 21 days to activate him. This is big news.

16:51 ↗

And we don't know the details because Austin Echler didn't practice. Okay, that's not surprising really because he's been dealing with injury sharing snaps. It was originally reported he was one of the seven chargers placed on the COVID list. Later, it came out that he wasn't. Some people think this is just a procedural formality and that will happen today. So we don't know. And Brooksie, I want you to break in if you find out any more information about Echler being on the COVID list. You got it.

17:22 ↗

Jared Goff, Jamal Williams. Well, they're opposite. Jared Goff is now on the COVID list. Jamal Williams is off. Travis Kelsey and Harrison Butker are on the COVID list. Oh, no. Oh. What if Week 15 was, um, no, no, no, no, what if it was the good week? No. No. No. No. Don't you put that evil on us. No. Okay. All right. There's a, uh, he can be back. There's a new protocol.

17:52 ↗

In the NFL. And so there is a, unlike previous weeks where them entering the COVID list put it at very low probability of playing, that is no longer the case. So it's a keep your eyes on it all week. Make plans ahead of time. Yes. This is the waiver show. Make plans so that you have a pivot, but then hope for the best. Oh, and I will let you know. The pivot options for Travis Kelsey this week's sensational.

18:19 ↗

Lots of auto fill-ins for Travis Kelsey? Yes, yeah, the tight-up position. Just looking hot? The waiver wire is just a gold mine. It's buzzing. Just emergent talent, week 16. But we'll give you the best ones. Yeah, we will. Jaylon Waddle is back from the COVID list. So is Philip Lindsay. And, um, okay, I apologize for laughing. Will Fuller likely done for the year. Oh, come on. After a setback with his finger injury. Oh, this guy.

18:50 ↗

And I guess I left because I've never heard of that. A setback with a finger injury? Yeah. But I'm sure that can happen. I mean, that dude's body doesn't want to play contact sports. Kendrick Bourne's on the COVID list. Daniel Jones is done for the year. And Jalen Hurts does not have an injury designation for tonight. All right. So he is good to go. If you played the game, waiting for Jalen Hertz, you're good to go.

19:17 ↗

And also, Ricky Seals Jones. Yeah, Ricky Seals Jones did practice in full. He kind of had the, uh, that scary. He was ill on Sunday as we, we know, waited. And Ricky Seals Jones is in a really good streaming position because the Eagles on the season have been torched by the tight end position. But he's practiced at full. He should be back. Meanwhile, Jady McKissick and Curtis Samuel are out. Just adding fuel to the fire of Ricky Seals Jones is very necessary for this team.

20:14 ↗

This year's been a lot of fun. We've had the never not working segment where we have picked out different metrics and things going on in fantasy football. We've, we've, we've dived in. Dove in. It's pronounced doved. Doved in. We have Doug D. D. D. We have stopped what we're doing and we've looked directly into the heart of these analytics. We're looking at analytics, not grammar.

20:42 ↗

It's been a rough week. I mean, there's no other way to say it. Yeah. But we've been never not working each and every week, and you can get up to 100% dandruff protection that's never not working with head and shoulders, scalp shield technology. All righty. Let's jump into the gold mine. Oh, man. People need them. People need starts for next week. I can tell you that. There have been injuries. There's COVID lists. This may be...

22:43 ↗

This may be a gold mine. Maybe not a tight end, but at the other positions, like I said, a lot of people are processing waivers on the morning of Thursday instead of Wednesday. But here we go. Antonio Brown's the headline because if he was released in your league, there is a high likelihood he's the most important receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the rest of the way. Carolina, the Jets, the next two weeks. He has rostered in the majority of leagues still. I dropped him.

23:15 ↗

Yeah. So, you know, in our league of record, I dropped him. I needed bench spots for defenses. Yeah, because he was marked as suspended and not in all. In some platforms, you can move a suspended player down to the IR, but some you cannot. So he was just clogging up a bench spot and you weren't sure that he was actually going to come back. So look for him. Russell Gage, Mike. It's happening. He's the wide receiver five over the last month. He gets to take on the Detroit Lions.

23:45 ↗

Coming hot off of an 11 target game, 8 for 91 and 1. I mean, this is, after we all got tricked, honestly. You got tricked by the slow start and the injury of Russell Gage. Because in the off season, he was one of those really interesting late round flyer type of guys where Matt Ryan historically has been.

24:10 ↗

Fantastic when it comes to yardage. He had Calvin Ridley as his number one. He could be Robin. You weren't asking Russell Gage to be Batman. But since he came back from the injury. He's still Robin. Okay, okay. But every once in a while, who does? There's no Batman.

24:29 ↗

on this team. Oh, yeah, yeah. But Robin eventually becomes somebody else. I can't remember that superhero that he turns into. Nightwing, I think. I'm not a, you know, I'm not a DC guy. But since coming back, he has the two Goose Egg games. But other than that, he has been, he's been very good for your team. It is Nightwing. Yeah, that's right. I knew it was in there. I had never heard that in my life. Well done. There's other stories, too. There's like red.

24:58 ↗

cape or something i don't know that team is is but anyway the point is lucky to have a robin leading the way the point is that russell gauge is seeing massive target shares he hasn't seen under a 20% target share since week 11 and it's the detroit lions man about 50 50 rostered devante parker 64% rostered

25:23 ↗

eight targets last week and a great play as well. But if you're looking at under 50% rostered players, there's three that I'm very interested in. And that's Amun Rae St. Brown. Okay. You could have smoked fired him, and it would have been fired because 11 more targets. But the question for him is, because it would have easily been smoke, or I'm sorry, fire as well. But Jared Goff is on the COVID list. If Jared Goff is not back for that game with Atlanta, I'm.

25:51 ↗

I would be out. Yes, I agree with that. And then Gabriel Davis looked great, five for 85 and two, has a nose for the end zone. In fact, 18% of his targets through two years are in zone targets. So he looks to him there. And then MVS, I thought looked great last week. They played Cleveland. So MVS for the Packers, 66% of snaps. You know, he had a non-deep ball touchdown.

26:20 ↗

which is something you don't always see from him. And he's looking good. So I, those are the three. Like I would play MVS over Amman Rae St. Brown if golf was out. Yes, definitely. So you would still go St. Brown? I'd probably go Gabe Davis. The problem is the matchup for Gabe Davis this week. It's New England. Right. So if you, you know, do you like MVS or Gabe Davis for this week's matchup? I would, I'd probably play Marquez, you know, since.

26:48 ↗

really getting back into it. He was injured early in the middle of the season, and then it took a few games to really get acclimated back in. But since that time, he's averaged a 22% target share, and that is, like, not everyone getting a 20% target share is worth playing in fantasy football, but if you're seeing 20% of Aaron Rogers' targets, you are absolutely worth being played every single week. He has variance because he is, because him and Lazard kind of,

27:18 ↗

go back and forth between who's going to be the two and the three in that particular game plan. But I personally, watching him play, I think he has leveled up and is a strong wide receiver to play that can go for 90 in a touchdown on any given week. And not every wide receiver has that opportunity. Tyler Johnson and Breschev Perryman could be the starting two wide receivers for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week. They could be. I think it's actually probable that they are. It seems.

27:47 ↗

Hard to imagine that the team would want to risk Mike Evans one week removed, even though they said the injury wasn't severe. But Tyler Johnson, Bradshaw Perryman missed last week due to being on the COVID list, and they could have used him, ironically. But Tyler Johnson played a ton. Didn't do much. 4-4-41. You know, the Carolina defense is pretty strong, so it's going to be a big risk putting these guys into your lineup. Would you agree? Yeah, because you have no idea how it's going to shake out.
