backfields, right? That's the question I thought you were going to ask. Who would you rather have Matt Jones or Rob Kelly? It's Robert Kelly. Yeah, it's Rob Kelly. You've got to buy into that now. The thing we know is that, you know, Matt Jones may be a healthy scratch for a reason. He can't play special teams. They're going to have somebody else active as a third running back if he's dropped behind Kelly and Thompson. And Thompson's not going anywhere, but he's the two. And the one thing that this does is it says, hey, you can probably flex.

14:13 ↗

Chris Thompson. He's in that CJ precise level start this week. That means a lot of people are going to wonder right now, what do I do with Matt Jones? Do I hold him in case this news is wrong? Do I drop him if I need a roster spot? No, it is a good question because I said yes that I'd hold him, but it's not under all circumstances. If I could have Kenneth Dixon, I'd rather have Kenneth Dixon. If I could have...

14:36 ↗

What are some other guys that... The aforementioned pro size. Yeah, I'd probably rather take the upshot of pro se right now. You're talking about coming down the wire. I mean, in our league of record, our playoffs start in week 14. We've got four weeks left, right? Yep. So this is not... There's not as much time to hold and wait and see anymore. This is moving time. Yeah, I agree. I agree that he's... If there's a move to be made and he's your only drop, drop him. All right. Romo expected to be inactive on Sunday.

15:06 ↗

Eagles coach, Frank Reich, says offensive coordinator. He's not the coach. What did I say? You just said Eagles coach. Oh, is he a coach? Thank you. When you say coach, you were inferring the head coach. Okay. All right. They want to feature Zachers more in the red zone. Yeah. You know, I don't believe anything that the dirty Eagles.

15:28 ↗

Coaches tell me. I wanted to snow in the summer. Yeah. That being said, it is a very good matchup for Ertz this week. So, you know, playing at the tight end position. So this combined with the matchup combined with last week leads me to believe that he is a very fine play this week. I will put it at that. Many people I would start him over. Sure. You know, you missed the show yesterday, but I think I compared tight ends to a spittoon.

15:57 ↗

Of some sort. He's another one you can put in your lineup and then spit into the bucket the next week. So Roger Goodell came out and said that they're looking at a variety of ways to shorten the game broadcast, including trimming some advertising to help keep the action moving. That's very interesting. I feel like slow clapping. I mean, that's, there's some things going wrong with the production right now. Well, the thing about...

16:21 ↗

football is if let's say you're on game pass you're on the NFL game pass and you know you get these shortened ones where they cut out all the fluff the game is 30 minutes long but instead of 30 minutes I'm sitting there for three hours look I get I enjoy you know the sitting the in and kind of watching with friends and the pace of football but three plus hours here's a good start how about we don't go to commercial break after every kickoff yeah I agree we just come out and you're just on the field

16:50 ↗

How about, how about, let's put some of this on the teams as well. How about we don't take a timeout before your first play in the game. All right, game's starting. Ready? Time out. I've never seen that before. I don't think I've ever seen it. It has happened before. And you have to do it, 12 men on the field. You had to do it. Crazy. How do you start the game with 12 men on the field? There's no rush. You've got all the time in the world. One, two.

17:14 ↗

Three. Hey, you're starting to day and you're starting a day. You had a commercial break to figure it out. Do you think that they were in the huddle in Cleveland and they were just like rah-raying each other up and it's like, let's get out there and do it. And then all of them took that seriously. It was just like, let's all go out there and they might have won with 12. Nope. Okay. Interesting stuff from the league on that front. They got to do some things. Let's go ahead and talk about some injuries and play in and out. What's it going to pay me fly? Are you in or out? All right.

17:44 ↗

At the quarterback, there's only one that I want to talk about because we already said Romo's not playing, not active, not to be concerned with. Ryan Fitzpatrick is the in or out. Practicing. He's going to play. He is the perfect in or out because he will be in and out is my prediction. He's someone you can't rely on, can't start. He will start the game. He stinks right now. Carlos Hyde, in or out.

18:06 ↗

He's been still practicing in that non-contact jersey. He says he is feeling good and that he is on track and optimistic to play. I think he's out. I don't think they're going to push him back against Arizona this week. Is he feeling healthy or is it feeling good like Michael Boubley feeling good? Crickets. All right. You have to illustrate what the difference is when you bring up something like that. Well, you're just you're feeling good. Sometimes, hey, how are you doing? Oh, I feel good. All right. Doug Martin.

18:36 ↗

practiced again Thursday. He's optimistic. He's going to play. In or out? I lean in. So here's the real question. He's in. He's active. He's the starter. Do you start him? Do you start him or Barber? I start Doug Martin. Absolutely one million percent. Yes. It was rhetorical. You start Doug Martin if he is active and in there. They have waited so long to get him back. They're not waiting so long to... Yeah. To Quiz Rogers started over Barber.

19:06 ↗

uh, Anton Smith basically was out snapping Barber until the injury. So I don't think Barbers, he doesn't have any pedigree to take that job. Todd Gurley, uh, he's fine. He's fine. He, he was back at practice Thursday. He had missed, uh, Wednesday's practice. Spencer Ware, in or out? In. He's passed concussion protocol. Lamar Miller in or out. I expect him to play too. Dionne Lewis. Dionne Lewis. Here you go. The Patriots have cut Tyler Gaffney.

19:35 ↗

Yeah, that means the Patriots are making the preparations to put Dionne Lewis onto the roster. And I know that Bill Belichick has said, well, it's going to take a lot to surpass James White. I imagine that will be watching Dion Lewis play one snap and go, oh, wow, that guy's really good. He's got a lot more than James White. I should play him. No, this is the concern, though. I think you should not dismiss that. I mean, he said, can somebody do it better? I don't know. It would take quite a bit.

20:03 ↗

Based on where he is and how consistent he's been with what he's done, it would take somebody playing pretty darn good to be better than him.

20:10 ↗

That's a great motivational speech. And then under his breath, he said, you know, a guy like a Dionne Lewis. Look, this first week, you cannot play James White. You cannot play Dionne Lewis. Regardless, you're in a bad matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, but you want to watch this game and you want to see how do they use Dionne Lewis. Are they using him similar to James White, where it was almost exclusively a pass catching back? Are they giving them, you know, carries? Are they worried about, I mean, they might still be worried a little bit about his health. You just have to watch this game. You can't play either.

20:40 ↗

I want Dionne Lewis going forward over James White personally because I think he will win out. Talent will win out. I think you're going to run out of time. And you very well might be right. I think Dionne Lewis is the kind of guy who you're going to see make an impact in the NFL playoffs. I'm not sure he makes an impact in your fantasy players. But we still have a month away. I think he will make an impact. And he's also going to impact Lagart Blunt because Dionne Lewis would when he was healthy.

21:09 ↗

was getting 8 to 10 carries where James White doesn't get carries. Kevin Coleman hasn't practiced all week in or out. I'm going to lean out. Yeah. James Starks. Ooh. James. He's practicing, went through contact drills on Thursday. Oh, man, I'm going to, I think, I'm going to go out. Yeah, I was going to lean out as well. He's, he's clearly one of those guys that.

21:33 ↗

Today's practice is going to be the most important practice. If he practices in full today, I think you can be confident he'll start. If he doesn't practice him full, I'm going to say he's going to take another week off. All right, let's fly through these wide receivers. Randall Cobb, enter out. In. Mike Evans. Cleared in. Jarvis Landry? He's got a shoulder injury, but he's going to play. Stills? I still expect him to play. Deshawn Jackson. ruled out. That one's easy. Okay. Tyrault Williams. In. Travis Benjamin. I'm going to say out.

22:02 ↗

Jeremy Macklin. Out. Hearns. Still in concussion protocol. Yeah, I don't think he passes. Marquis Lee, a sneaky snart this week? Yeah, you can throw him in there. Coaches are talking about Lee as though he may have passed Hearns on the depth chart. Well, he's played as good as Hearns has this year. And now with Hearns possibly out, I definitely think a sneaky snart. Will Fuller? I lean out. He's a game time decision right now. Victor Cruz. I say out. He's going to be out.

22:30 ↗

And then at the tight-in position, Lederi's green. Oh, looks like he's going to be in for the first time. Yeah. And then hunt. Do you have the, do you have the Cajones to start him? No. No, no, no. I got the Cajone's to, I don't know, maybe put him on my bench. I don't. I think he's worth a stash. The problem with stashing him is that I'm stashing two tight ends. Yeah, I guess I will say this. There's a lot of barfiness to the position this year. And if you, if that's been one of those positions, it's destroying your team, week in, week out.

23:00 ↗

then yeah, he's worth picking up and saying maybe there's a solution here to a hole on my team. Last one, Hunter Henry. He's been practicing, but I mean, Antonio Gates is there, so I don't think it really matters. Yeah, I think he'll be active for the game, but I would not recommend starting him. All right, we're about to get into the rest of the matchups, the fantasy forecast. Before we do that, look for Klan. We know how to tell you about some interesting, unique,

I want to see the cool stuff that they have available.

25:21 ↗

And we're talking in a price range that you can absolutely afford. I have transformed my home office into land of the Cardinals signed jerseys. I got Patrick Peterson on my wall. I got Kurt Warner on my wall. I got David Johnson on my wall. And every time I go in there, you're like, yeah, man, this feels this feels good. I'm going to get some work done. Feels like home. Yeah. It's just a spectacular way.

25:48 ↗

All right, let's get into the matchups. Fantasy forecast. I need to bring something to your attention. You guys have to rule on this. Yesterday.

26:20 ↗

I made Denver my almost upset of the week as they were two and a half point dogs to New Orleans. A user decided to tweet me and say, look, just food for thought. Vegas then already has them as an almost upset. Do I need to be picking an almost upset? Because let's be honest, when I pick an almost upset, I'm kind of trying to pick an upset. Well, that's me saying I think Denver's going to win. And that's my problem is when you pick an almost upset.

26:45 ↗

and they upset, then you have lost because your goal is an almost upset. So you really, you can do that if you want. I think I lose in all circumstances with this situation. Here is the correct thing. I think that you're picking an upset. And when you pick a line that is close, if you're picking a line that's under three, what you're saying is they're going to win the game. And that's, of course, what you're saying. That's basically what I'm saying. But that's not what you're supposed to be saying. It's just the drop. At this point, I'm going to go with the verified guy on it.
