Yeah, I do play Terrence Williams. Even with the Gooser last week? There's no way that in two games he's not going to throw a pass to a wide receiver. And when it is a wide receiver, it's going to be Terrence Williams. Now, I don't put him in as a wide receiver one or two, but he has a flexible start here. This is a beatable defense. And I expect Terrence Williams to have a bounceback game. You want to know who I'm really excited about for this game, though, is C.J. Spiller. C.J. Spiller has been the missing man.

right now. He came back off of injury. That's a good reason to be excited. Well, no, I'm excited to see. He's missing. He's missing. This man is excited for Kristen Michael. I am much more excited for C.J. Spiller to do something. I'm not playing Michael this week. No, but to watch. I'm not playing C.J. Spiller either. Those would be fun to replays. I'm saying that C.J. Spiller, we're going to see how they're going to use him for the first time this year. Why would we see it now and not last week? Because of Drew Brees?

Because of Drew Breeze, because of matchup, because of health. Those three things are reasons. This is a matchup where they can start using them. Also, Sean Peyton said after last game, I made a mistake and not...

getting him in more. He said that... Oh, he went full Andy Reid? Yeah, he went full Andy Reid, which makes sense because if you look at how the season started and how they couldn't use Spiller because he was out, then they had a terrible matchup for Spiller. They haven't worked him into the game plan the way that they, when they went out and signed him and sought after him, we were very high on him. I expect his usage to be shown this weekend to figure out what we've gotten C.J. Spiller. For me, he's a target. I would go target him before this game. All right, so the Monday night game, the Lions

Go to Seattle. Seattle's a 10-point favorite. Stafford is going to play the running game for Detroit. Do you start Abdullah? I mean, do you just... Can you really call it a running game? No, you can't. The running back game. The running backs used just however they're going to use him through the air. Look, the offense, if you can't run the ball, you can't play action pass. If you can't play action pass, you take away what Stafford does best.

which is throw the ball off a play action pass to Calvin Johnson or Golden Tate. They've got to figure the running game out. Maybe accidentally they'll figure it out this week because Joyc will be out and they'll, you know, and maybe it's going to be short passes. Maybe it's going to be those like swing passes that are a fake running game, so to speak, and they just do something to get Abdullah involved. Free Abdullah, Detroit. I'm okay with Abdullah this week, even against Seattle, just from a, I mean, somebody has to,

Pick up yards. The offense isn't the worst. Yeah, if Joyke Bell's out, you can start Abdullah. You just can't expect him to be, you know, a monster. Abdullah or Yeldin? If Jok is out. Yeldin. Either way. It doesn't matter for me, Yeldon. Yeah, it's got to be Yelden, right? It would be Yelden. It would be. Yeah. Absolutely. Okay. I think if Joyc is out, they're going to have to give all the first and second down touches to Abdullah. No.

Riddick will be on the field. On third down and through the air, I don't think he gets first and second down touches. Okay. I wish we could somehow water bet that. It's a tough one. So I can almost guarantee you who will be. The lions are very bad on defense right now. So how do we feel about Russell Wilson so far? He's been okay, fantasy-wise, through three games? Yeah, he's a fine play. Any wide receivers you're starting here from Seattle? Baldwin? You know, I don't enjoy playing the roulette.

Seattle wide receiver games, so probably not. I like Jimmy Graham a lot. I know you do. So I've been trying to get him in a lot of leagues. He had a good week last week. Their offense is going to need to use him more and more and more, and especially if Lynch isn't the goal line threat that he normally is because of injury or those type of things. So I think Graham has got a lot of upside. It's possible. All right, let's go ahead and take a few minutes and talk some DFS. A Daily Dose.

All right, the fantasy footballers are excited to welcome in Chris Meaney once again this week talking DFS. How you doing, Chris? Good, guys. Thanks for having me. Ready to move on to week four. Talk a little DFS football. I know, I know. Nice picks last week.

Not bad. A lot of people around the office kind of say, what the heck was going on with you with Gary Barnage? But I think really what we found out, guys, is that Oakland just does not do well against tight ends. That's five touchdowns in three games now. They've allowed to tight ends in just about 300 yards. So it's just something to keep an eye on moving forward. So Martellus Bennett.

Yeah, I mean, Martellus Bennett, sure, 5-5. Again, going to be another nice option. Whatever it is, maybe Oakland will figure it out, but they're not...

They're not looking at the tight end. I mean, Gary Barnage, actually watched that game. He should have had two touchdowns. They left him wide open in the red zone, and McCowan just threw it over his head. So, again, I do like Martellus Bennett at 5'5, and it doesn't even matter if it's Kotler or Klossin throwing the ball. I just think that, you know, even if it's Klossin, I think he could rely on his tight end a little bit. So I think that another good price for Bennett at 5'5 this week against Oakland.

Okay, so Bennett is a good pick. Let's talk about this. We're kind of heading into week four. Are there some DFS trends that have existed where, you know, people are kind of starting the same type of guys or some things that you've paid attention to in the DFS world that our listeners should know about? Well, I do, I have noticed this week that a lot of people are big on Oakland, Derek Carr, and, you know, big on Latavius Murray and big on Murray Cooper.

You know what? I like all three of those guys as well. And I really, really like Derek Carr this week at $7,000 against Chicago. I think he's got a fantastic matchup. But obviously here on the Fandals Show at Fantasy Sports Network, we're having people come in every day with lineups. And you know what? Derek Carr and Amari Cooper has been in just about every single one of them.

It's really interesting. And you know what? In cash games, I like it. Head to heads, I like it. But if you're going to play in a big tournament, I don't necessarily like it. I notice a lot of people are coming in with kickers and the running back. And I don't.

really like that strategy either. I talked a little bit about this with you guys last week. I do like running backs that are going to catch the balls. If you're going to pair them up, sure. You get a quarterback, even Latavius Murray. That's fine. You want to go Latavis Murray and Derek Carr. I'm all right with that. But if you want to go with a running back who doesn't catch the ball a lot, maybe you want to go hide this week and Reggie Bush is back. He's going to cut into a little bit. He's just not going to be catching those balls anymore. It's going to be Reggie Bush. I don't love Bush, but...

The truth of the matter is, he's just going to steal away from Hyde and certainly third down situation. So I've seen a little bit of those trends. I've seen Julio Jones on basically everybody's lines. And the thing is, is sometimes we try to be too smart and we try to be too contrarian and not pick Julio Jones. But now with Big Ben out and Antonio Brown catching balls from Michael Vic, I think that Julio Jones is the safest player in fantasy.

He just gets all the targets, he gets all the looks, all the catches, all the touchdowns, all the yards. This guy's on pace for over 2,000 yards. So I think sometimes not try to be a contrarian, just pick the safest guy, and Julio Jones, you're going to pay for him 9-4, but certainly he seems to be worth it every single day. And it seems like, I mean, you can correct me if I'm wrong, but the recency bias has to be very present in DFS, where, you know, you talked about Carr and Natavius Murray, well, they just had big weeks, you know? So guys coming into the next week, are they kind of chasing the points from the week before?

Absolutely, yeah, that's a very good question. We have seen guys, I mean, Hyde, Hyde when he had that big week, heavily owned in week two and didn't do anything. And you know what? You know what? This week, actually, we might see Andy Dalton and AJ Green a popular, popular pick. Now, this is a matchup against KC as well. We saw KC get shredded, you know, by Aaron Rogers, and they've been shredded actually in the secondary. I believe they're giving up the most fantasy points.

on average to wide receivers out of any other team. And again, it might be a nice play. Dalton and AJ Green, I'm not saying it, but I also think that we could have missed the boat last week. Not saying that these guys are not going to have great games like they did last week, but don't count it on a consecutive weeks, right? Greg Olson is another great matchup, 6-3. We don't know if Stewart's going to play. He might be a popular play as well.

I agree with you. When you ask that question, is that a lot of people are playing the same guys over and over again. Let's play Larry Fitz over again. I like Fitzgerald, but this is a guy that I'm fading. I'm not playing because I really feel like everybody is going to play this guy. You don't think a 48 touchdown pace is sustainable for these guys?

No. Someone got mad at me on Twitter. It was, I believe, week two, somebody asked me a question, Fitzgerald or Devante Adams. And I said, it's close, but I'll go Fitzgerald. And somebody got extremely mad. Why, this guy's the old man, just cash and checks. Oh, my gosh.

He's still getting it done. But again, you kind of want to just stay away from, just because he had a good week three, doesn't mean he's going to have a good week four. You really have to try to exploit the matchups. Let me ask you something about guys that are kind of on that injury bubble, and so they might get priced that way. One guy that sticks out to me is Deshaun Jackson, who has yet to be ruled out for the game this week. Now, he's probably not going to play, but he comes in at 6,000, you know, going against his former team, the Eagles. How do you approach those guys, D-Jax in specifics or those type of guys that are priced?

at the injured price, but might play. Yeah, that's a really good question as well. So I kind of try to stay away from them, to be honest with you. I don't want to play a guy that just may not play. And I got kind of burned before when I had Mike Evans in my line. If I didn't know that he was going to be on a pitch count, and he just was, and he wasn't getting any looks, and then we saw him last week at all the targets. So I kind of stay away from the guys who are on the bubble. Of course, if you're going to play a contest this weekend,

And you're going to be in the week four contest. And you're looking at Monday night. Let's remember that on Fandul, your lineup locks Sunday at 1 o'clock. It's going to lock. And we don't know if Lynch is going to play on Monday. And obviously, Rawls is a nice play at 6,000. So it's just really, really tricky. If you have the guts and you want to do it and you go ahead and you go play Rawls and you're just, what if maybe. And I just don't suggest playing Lynch because I actually think he has multiple injuries. We had Will Carroll on the Fandul's show.

Fandall Insider, who covers injuries, injury expert, and he had a lot of negative things to say about Marshawn Lynch, just multiple injuries. So some of these guys that, you know, are question marks to play, haven't practiced all week, bubble. I kind of do stay away from it, but you mentioned it. Sean Jackson against his former team, he lit them up twice last year, and he had really good games inside the division. But it's just somebody that I'd stay away from. I think that's good advice, and I think one of the things that really differentiates, you know, you have to take chances in the year-long regular fantasy football game, but in DFS,

You really, I mean, you don't have to, right? I mean, you can if you want to be, you know, if that's the kind of player you are, but you don't have to make that decision and throw Chris Ivory out there last week and, you know, take the risk with a guy that's banged up. So a couple other guys that come to mind, you know, Palmer's price is rising. Are you fading on him just because of the price? I still like him. Okay.

As soon, if it keeps on rising, I may not. I know this is a division game, and Arizona's looked really, really well. St. Louis's D is not bad. It's okay, but I still do like Palmer. At 8-2, I'm okay with it. I'm actually kind of fading the, you know, the Andrew Rogers and the Andrew, or Aaron Rogers and the Andrew Lux of the world, but 9-2-9-1. Right. I don't think that they'll have good days. I really do think that they'll both have good days. Just the price.

Yeah, just the price is too high, and it really handcuffs the rest of your lineup. It definitely wouldn't allow you to get, you know, a guy like Forte who could get a lot of play this week, 8-3 against Oakland, a guy like Julio Jones, as I touched on earlier, 9-4 against Houston. So even Cobb. I mean, Cobb is nice against San Francisco. So I don't want to handcuff myself with those quarterbacks. I think there's some value to be had. You can save a few bucks with Matt Ryan.
