What's ironic about these two players so far, and maybe all three, the film says more than, you know, a season-long set of numbers for these guys because they've either been injured, not involved. But I thought the film on Parker Washington was outstanding. This looked like a player that was going to be an impact player, but I don't know if there's enough to go around to where I'm going to be sitting week in, week out, going Parker Washington's My Wide receiver 3 to start him this week. I think you can always start him.

but you've got to cross your fingers and be like, is this the week that he's the most involved player? I know, Jason, let's turn it over to you. You have been rising on Parker Washington. Yeah, I flipped. I went into the offseason Brian Thomas Jr. ahead of Parker Washington just because of the talent, the upside. We obviously saw the breakout rookie season, the fact that he's used downfield. But everything that we had with Brian Thomas that was great was not with Trevor Lawrence.

And with Trevor Lawrence, we've seen a real connection to Parker Washington. And what's happened this offseason is it's really this. I don't love moving players based on quotes and stuff. And that is what's happened here. So full disclosure. But it's the type of quotes that are coming out that are talking about when Trevor Lawrence talks about his wide receivers and he talks about Parker Washington and he talks about Brian Thomas Jr. He talks about Parker Washington like he is the best wide receiver in the league.

everything he's everything he does is good he's always creating separation he's quick off the line he's he's a perfect route runners and then it's like well what about brian thomas junior he is he's fast one work fast and it's like then you is a brian watch some of the other you look at jacobby meyers and brian thomas talk about like they're trying to beat each other in they're trying to be the first one in the building the last one out but they're like

Well, we're not competing with Parker. He's always here first. The quote from John Shipley from Sports Illustrated, Washington has routinely been the top target for Trevor Lawrence in practice during training camp. It's easy to see why, catching everything thrown in his direction, consistent separation. Grant Udinski said, I certainly don't want to take it for granted that we have a player of this capacity. When the ball's in the air, I have the utmost confidence he's going to come down with it. And superlatives and superlative. We saw it. After the by week, last.

year, an entire half of the season, nine games. He averaged 12 fantasy points per game. He was on pace for 1,200 receiving yards, 77 receptions. We've seen him on this team with this quarterback succeed in that role. So it's like, why are, you know, and that was how they finished the season and now everything in camp says it's continuing. So I'm just believing what we saw at the end of last year. I have definitely risen in my rankings. The whole Jacksonville wide receiver situation is tough as.

A foundation, I think that is strong for fantasy football advice, is follow the actions of the team and the management. What do they say? They're paying everybody but Parker Washington. Well, that is their priority according to the team, but they haven't paid him yet. If a Parker Washington contract came in, that would, it would really change things. I'm not opposed to the idea that Parker Washington, maybe he is the best.

That is certainly a thing that can happen, but you trade for Jacoby, you extend him at the end of last year, you give Strange all that money, and now all this Travis Hunter stuff. I was going to bring out the contract. If you got news of the contract, it would really solidify it for you? Yes, it would go from this more nebulous, abstract cloud that I feel like we're reaching into and hoping you get the right guy. Yeah.

Because, dude, money talks. Travis Hunter is the biggest. To me, you look at after the biweek last year where he was on pace for 1,200 yards, that was exactly the time that Travis Hunter went down. So you can make the argument that it was Travis Hunter being gone is the only reason Parker Washington got the extra play and was playing 80% of snaps. Can he do it? Yes. Can Michael Wilson do it? Yes. Will that be their role? That's the real question. And Travis Hunter, while he is not.

going to play enough snaps on offense to be himself a weekly starter. He is going to play enough snaps on offense to potentially just ruin everybody not named Trevor Lawrence for the Jags. That's my biggest worry.

Tyler Shuck, another quarterback that has moved up the ranks. We know what Mike thinks about Tyler Shuck. We know what Jason thinks about their whiteouts. I don't necessarily agree. Jason put his whiteout tiers up on Twitter. Oh, yeah. You did. I missed it. I think you're, I think you mostly nailed it. I disagree on the, a couple of them. There were a few. Like Jefferson and Addison. Yeah, there's three. Being in a different tier than Amuneran Jameson. I didn't agree with that at all. That was really.

I will correct my mistake. That was an unintentional mental quarterback punishment, putting those guys below the lions. Got it. The other two that got flack on there was how high I have Jordan Tyson and Chris Olive and Roma Dunzee and. Nate here. I thought we were friends, Jason. But you want, ST or Mike? For a guy that's never played a snap in the NFL? That's not appropriate. That's inappropriate.

I think what I put up was very appropriate. I mean, I think you hedged. I think you got scared. Burned Adunze-A-Lave Tyson are TBDs on how good they'll be. Now, you could argue the way you rank. I mean, potential versus performance. If you're ranking based on what you think their potential is, that's fine. But you can't base it on performance yet. Well, of course you can't with a rookie. I mean, you have to project. It's impossible not to. Yeah.

Yeah, but I think most people, when they talk about the talent level on a team, or it's oftentimes what you've seen versus what they might be able to do. The only other one I thought was kind of wild, you put Rashi Rice in the uninspiring category. That seemed a little low to me. I loved it. You, okay. What are we doing here? Just entertainment. All right, Tyler Shuck has moved up three or four rounds, but he's basically free.

Mm-hmm. Still quarterback 18 or so? Yeah, I mean, Mike is just over the moon about Tyler Shuck. I think he saw enough in the sample size that he feels like there's nowhere to go but up. We know the story in the NFL. You know, don't ask CJ Stroud how his rookie season went compared to the other years. Bo Nix took a step back last year compared to what we expected. We have, we've seen the ups and downs of these players. Yep.

But those teams didn't do what the Saints did. Which is what? Drought Jordan Tyson in the top tier guy. And you draft Jordan Tyson the top 10 and then you give your true number one wide receiver all the money. I mean, this is just this is a dream come true. Plus you add. This is and it's fine. If you want, you're like, I can't put him up there because I haven't seen Jordan Tyson take a snap. That's fine. But I will say, you know, when we do, hey, the time machine is like.

By next year, I think the Saints are going to feel like the Bengals and the Cowboys. We have two top-tier studs and we have a quarterback. I'm not saying Shuck is Burrow, but I'm saying like Shuck can put up numbers the way that like Dak puts up numbers when he has two elite wide receivers. Do you believe that you can draft him and play him every week? I do. The opening is going to be. That would make him the best pick in fantasy quarterback-wise. He feels like it to me. Because he'll be free.

Yeah, I mean, the nice thing is he's got a rushing baseline. He'll rush for over 400 yards or a round there. That is helpful when you're taking a late round quarterback? Dak or Shuck? Oh, Dak. I'm more confident in Dak. So if you're talking... They're not that far apart in rounds anymore. Where's, where's Dak? Or is Dak a sixth? I think... Maybe Dak's way ahead of it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. I thought Dak might... I mean, Dax's getting to the point where it's... Sixth round is a pretty big commit to Dak.

For sure. Shuck, you don't have to commit. Shuck, you're talking about Jordan Love, Malik Willis. Those are the quarterbacks around him. Yeah, Hubey 11 for Dak and the ninth. So the way I see Shuck is, you know, when we talk about the years of, and look, I have Malik Willis in this area as well. You get to that last pick. You're like, I don't really like any of these sleepers. I'm not seeing any news that's changing how I'm feeling about guys.

I'll just take a second quarterback and I'll see what happens in week one. The Lamar year, that was the advice. Everything set up for Lamar Jackson, but let's see if he can actually do it. And if you took him with your last pick, you more than likely won your league that year. I don't want to get hyperbolic and say Shucks a league winner, but he's that type of profile. We'll save that for a different show. I'm willing to draft a second quarterback where frequently I'm not.
