Look, we've got to talk about some bad vibes, which mean good vibes for somebody else. Oh, look, come on. Got to give it up. Good vibes for Arian Foster because the vibes are very bad for J.H. Do you know what doesn't happen for great starting running backs very often? Playing in the fourth preseason game? Yeah, they don't normally start the fourth preseason game. And when they do, they don't.

Normally fumble. That's no good. Jay Jai had a very poor game. Mike wrote a very good note here. Oh, no, wait, we just wrote that. It says bad. Jad Jai has been bad. 18 for 49 in the preseason. Had a fumble last night. You know who didn't play? Arian Foster didn't play last night. Yeah. Mike, I think you should talk about this one. Well, look, I've been the kind of the, I've been the one holding out for J. Jai of.

Um, look, I want Foster to be good. I desperately want him to stay healthy because watching him play football is, it's fun. It is fun to watch Aaron Foster make people look stupid and look foolish. The best touchdown celebration. Oh, the, the, the Namaste bow. Yeah. That's a classic, but, but I just, to buy into a, Aaron Foster, a guy who is just riddled with injuries frequently.

ruptures his Achilles to come back that quickly, I couldn't buy in. But clearly the Miami Dolphins are buying in because they have to at this point with J. Ajai performing to the level that he is. Jai will be involved in the offense. I'm not saying it's Aaron Foster ride or die time for Miami. Ajai is going to get snaps. But Aaron Foster is going to be the main guy. He's the first running back taken in the fifth round right now. Is that taken by you, Andy?

Sure. I've just got a really happy grin over here. I've said it before. Sometimes, you know, the world of fantasy football just works out so well for this show. But even so it's bad for Ajai looking good for Foster. How, how good do you feel about drafting him, Andy? You're the Aryan Foster guy. I like having RB2s that I draft with upside to be RB1s. And.

that's the plain and simple truth about Ariam Foster. I like knowing that a guy has the potential to be a top five player if he played well. And do you predict it? Not necessarily, but you feel really good about that when you're drafting a second running back in the fifth or sixth round to, you know, if I had Latavius Murray and Aaron Foster as my starting running backs after I invested early draft capital on wide receivers that were elite, I would feel okay right now. Yeah. Would I insure my investment by drafting some guys late?

Yeah, you're darn right, I would. Yeah, the problem is you can't ensure your investment with J. Ajai because he just, if Arian Foster never came to the Dolphins, I think the way that Matt Jones has had bad vibes, I think Jay Jai would have had his bad vibes anyways, and we wouldn't have necessarily believed that he could do it. Yeah, you would have started talking about Isaiah Pete or you would have been talking about Damien Williams. I've been thinking about picking up Pete in some of our deeper leagues because. Isn't he, he's hurt now, though. He is. He is questionable. He looked good, though. He looked good. We got time for like,

Couple more. Two more. Two more. We'll stick both at the running back position. All right. Good vibes. We got Levi-on Bell. Yeah. I don't remember who that is. Tell me about him. He is a decent running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers who's involved in every single play. Right. He's the center. He's the only running back that starts as the center. Yeah. But he's just looked. I mean, he's looked amazing throughout the whole.

preseason. You can have full confidence. I mean, the fact that he's coming off of that, you know, we've got a lot of players here coming off of injury this year. And some of the vibes aren't so good. You know, we kind of have bad vibes with Jordy. Yeah. We have bad vibes with another running back we'll talk about in a second. But the vibes with Levion Bell are fantastic. And so I think when you're looking to draft him late in the second round, if he gets there late in the second, there's, I mean, that is sweet to grab him because.

You got to keep in mind those first three weeks he misses. It's not like you're getting a zero. You're not starting him. You've got other people that you're going to be able to plug in there. But when he gets back, he's the number one. I mean, when I took my stats and statted them out for the season and then I adjusted them for a two-game suspension thinking that it might be at the end of that.

He scored more on my projected stats in 14 games than my number two running back did in 16-statted games. He's another level. Yeah. So, I mean, I guess the bad vibe guy that we have to discuss is Jamal Charles. Yeah. And I said it yesterday, look, I'm not moving him a ton, but I don't really want to draft him. Yeah, I can feel that. And it sucks because I wish I wanted to. I did want to weeks ago, but now he's behind schedule.

Ware is very competent. West is competent. It might take some time. They're a playoff team. Why would you rush back that guy when you don't have to necessarily because you have capable other backs there and he's a little lower. So let's, yeah, I mean, the vibes aren't good, but I'm going to put you to the test here, Andy. Do it. You're on the clock. Jamal Charles is there. Levion Bell is there. Who are you taking? I'm taking Levi-on-Bel. Jamal-Charles is there.

Devonza Freeman is there. Who are you taking Devonta Freeman? Jamal Charles is there. Eddie Lacey is there. I'm taking Jamal Charles. Ooh, there's the line. Yeah, I'm, look. Sean McCoy? I'm, I think I probably take McCoy. Mark Ingram? I think that's, I think I'd take Jamal Charles. I think I'd take Jamal Charles. I would take Ingram there.

Yeah, and I understand that. Look, it is a risk aversion scenario. It is the unknown. With Lev Bell, you know he's out three games and he comes back great. Charles could be subpar for two games and back in game three as a superstar. It's very possible. When nobody's ruling Jamal Charles out, we're saying there's hesitancy. I think people, when you draft Jamal Charles right now, you're either going to win or you're going to lose. Yeah. You know, it's one of those things where he's either going to come back and be worth of value greater than what you paid.

or he's going to be the opposite. I doubt he slots in right where you draft him. I will say this. A listener tweeted at me and said they were in a draft and you know the rankings from the draft service, the ESPN, the whatever, the Yahoo ranks. They said that Charles had been lowered and I believe he was in the 30s. So that's a situation that you can possibly take advantage of. I agree. If you're in the third round and Jamal Charles is there,

I think that's well worth the rest. Yeah, Andy, you talked about liking to be able to take an RB2 with RB1 upside. If you can take Jamal Charles as your second running back in the third round. Yep.
