But the, he's running. Does it make any sense for him to go to New Orleans? Why, why this New Orleans talk? Okay. Him, the talk of him going to New Orleans is just ludicrous. I think media hype. In severe cap trouble, they are, they still have to make more cuts. You made a commitment to Mark Ingram. I mean, how do you, how do you bring C.J. Spilling? How can you afford?

C.J. Spiller. That news to me sounded just like the ridiculous news of, well, the Eagles are still looking at DeMarco Murray. It's like you just signed Ryan Matthews. There's no need. There's no cap room. So are we sure that Mark Ingram has been paid? Is he signed on the dotted line? I think the contract is done for Ingram. I think C.J. Spiller goes to Dallas. I think Dallas is going to need to make a splash. They're not going to want to wait for the draft. I think they'll probably also draft somebody, but I think they've got to go out and get

name and C.J. Spiller was rumored to be their backup plan from the get-go. C.J. Spiller's been patient and it would be really nice. He'll be cheap too. Comparatively. Yeah, comparatively. Yeah, compared to Murray, but he's, what do you think? He's got to be a four. He's right in that range that they wanted to pay Murray. I'll tell you this, his agent's smart in the sense that C.J. Spiller's what's left.

I mean, who out there, if you're a team and you want to make a splash, C.J. Spillers, the last splash you can make, he might earn an extra million dollars a year just by being impatient. Yeah, I just, I don't know if C.J. Spillers might sign with Dallas. Yeah, we don't, we don't know what Ryan Matthews is going to do. But I just don't know if Spillers that back that Dallas needs.

No, I don't think he is. Not at all. He doesn't fit the scheme. I don't like him there. I like Spiller. I just like him as a two. I mean, I like him healthy and as a two or as a compliment. And I like him in space. I like him on a team that's going to get guys in space. Go put him in Baltimore. If Forsutleys, go put him in Baltimore, something like that. question. There's some big switches taking place on the defensive side of the ball. You had Sue go to Miami. You had Helodianada go to the Lions. You had Revis re-up with his old team, the Jets. Comparatively, by the way, I was talking to somebody about this this morning. We've said running back is the worst position to be in football in terms of getting paid. You know, DeMarco, look at this situation. He did the best he could do on the best team he could do it on, and they won't even pay him.

The opposite of that is Dorel Rivas, who has received, I believe, 18 lifetime contracts in his career. I mean, it is incredible because this guy doesn't seem to age. He's great. And he's positioned himself to get at, what, $20 million last year with the Patriots for a one-year deal? And then comes out and gets 70-something million? Like 40 million guaranteed. Guaranteed, yeah. And signs with the Jets, playing for Todd Bowles.

Quick, quick note on any fantasy relevance for these big time trade, or big time signings defensively. I mean, good for, it's Miami. Good for Todd Bowles because the scheme that Todd Bowles runs is he has to have strong cornerbacks because he blitzes and goes man across the board constantly. The Sioux, I mean, Sue to Miami, I just, I don't.

I don't know how you can give anybody who's not a franchise quarterback that much money. Yeah, and we kind of disagreed on that. I kind of thought he's worth it. I do not. Yeah. To get back on the Jets real quick, though, I mean, if your defense improves with Bulls, and let's say they bring Comarty in, and you have Revis and Comarty, does the running game of the Jets get a bump in fantasy value? That's what I'm saying.

Absolutely. I think that they're going to want to run the ball, but it's just a matter of waiting to see who the running backs are going to be there. I am so excited for this rookie running back class to see where these guys land and totally change our rankings. Yeah, they do that. The Jets are ascending. Oh, and we didn't even bring up Fitzmagic to the Jets. Is he the quarterback now? I think he is. We talked about this on Tuesday. I think he'll be the starter. And when you say Fitzmagic, tell the world you mean Ryan Fitzpatrick.

And by saying I like Miami, generally what that means is I think that they have a good shot of being the second best team in that division compared to the other two. Patriots are losing guys. All right, Thomas from Green Bay wants to know. He has a keeper question. He has to keep three of these five. No draft pick compensation for them. So just pick three. Marshawn Lynch, Jeremy Hill, Aaron Rogers, Randolph Cobb, and Calvin Johnson. How does he have all these guys? Green Bay. First of all, congratulations for winning your league. Second of all, get in a real league. Yeah. Not to insult your league, but...

If you're good enough to get all these. This is a four-team league. If you are a good enough player to get these guys on your team, you need to get in a league with some higher competition. You've got to stretch out, man. You've got to flex. You've got to exercise. You've got to grow. Marchion Lynch, Jeremy Hill, Calvin Johnson. Yes. Agreed. The, yeah, I mean, that's tough. I mean, because there's no penalty.

And you do have to, so you have to think somewhat, I guess, for the future. And who is going to be available? I mean, what are the other running backs that are being kept? Well, they didn't mention that it was dynasty, so to speak. So in a keeper situation, yeah, you do have to look at your league. I'm saying if it's a, we didn't get league size. So if it's a 12-team league and everyone's keeping three guys and you can keep, I saw that people are keeping three running backs, who's available.

is what I'm saying for possibly keeping Lynch and Hill. That's what I said. We did. We said Lynch Hill Calvin. I think you have to keep both. I would love to go into my league with two stud running backs right off the back. And again, philosophically, when you're drafting, you need to be looking at where these guys would go in terms of value. You know, it's easy to see names, big names, and want to keep a guy like Aaron Rogers. But you have to think about on the draft board, where would these guys go?

And are you getting the best value for your keepers? So Bryant from somewhere in New Mexico wants to know, should I trade, I guess this must be a dynasty or keeper league, should I trade Jimmy Graham for Jeremy Hill straight up? Yes. Yes. No. I'm going to say I would keep Jimmy Graham. Because a positional advantage? Yeah, because I think there is still a positional advantage here. And I...

there is a drop-off again after Jimmy Graham. So I hold on to him. He's special. Jeremy Hill is good. I do the trade. I think Jeremy Hill's borderline special. If you look at when the team finally committed to Jeremy Hill, it took a while because he's a rookie. He had to earn it. But he has top five potential. And Jimmy Graham, yeah, he has the top, the number two potential. Obviously it depends on your team too.

I mean, if this is, presumably this is a keeper league or something where they've got more players. And so if, you know, you know the makeup of your team, if you've got other running backs, you know, then I would rather keep Jimmy. If you're hurting there and you've got a bunch of wide receivers and you need running backs, then make the deal. I'd like both of those players on my team, so it's a fair trade. And then this next question comes in from Matt from Tucson, Arizona. I'm going to direct this one at the hitman here because he's in a league that.

Probably has the answer to this question. Essentially, this guy's in a 12-team Keeper League in which they keep guys and they don't do the draft pick compensation for them. They want to rotate to where they do do the draft pick compensation. So how do they make that adjustment? What tools can they use to begin to force players to trade a draft pick if they haven't done that before? You're in a league that uses some standings, right? Yeah, I'll go into the...

my league's rules, which I think are fantastic. My first thing I'll say is going from a... I guess it's already a keeper league, so introducing penalties isn't too bad. I was thinking of if you're going from a redraft into a keeper, it becomes a little more difficult because you have to decide do you get to keep guys that you already had. Basically what I'm saying is you can't just switch to a keeper league until...

it's already been agreed upon and you have a new draft. Don't be that commissioner. Because I have a friend of mine this year who came to me and said, oh, yeah. Plan ahead. The commissioner, after the draft decided, is now a keeper league. Yeah, you would draft people and keep people differently. Are you kidding? Leave that league. That's what I said. Yeah. So what one of my leagues does is your compensation is based off of the service that you use for your league.

For example, we, for that league, we are in NFL.com. And so this might get a little convoluted, so I'll try to explain it the best I can. Top 24 guys, if they're ranked in the top 24 of NFL.com, they cannot be kept. That's what your league does. Yes. But you guys rely on the service in terms of where they place the rankings. However, there are exceptions to this rule, and it's a two-keeper rule.

that if you had drafted a guy in the fourth round or later, so then they get better, you're rewarded. Does that make sense? Yeah. That I found a guy, like, last year I drafted Jeremy Hill very late in every single one of my league. So I took him in that league. I would then be able to keep him because I drafted him late and I'm being rewarded for finding him. Could you go back and just look at last year's initial rankings?

And just use that for everybody. I mean, this guy's situation is there are keepers from years past. So just use, yeah, essentially ADP, but maybe you use the rankings from a Yahoo or an ESPN or CBS or wherever you're playing with. Yeah, that's what I would do. Because I think they're wanting to change it into standardized keeper. They've got some funky rules probably and they want to change it. So I would just go back. The only thing you could do is...

look at average draft position from previous years. So this is really a dynasty league, though, because he has previous keepers. You have to look at it for the upcoming year, because that's the price you should pay, is what is the value of the keeper for this current year? Yeah, I actually agree with that. You probably need to do that. Because you don't reward them for last year. Well, but that's, I mean, normally if I'm losing a pick, I'm not losing a pick based on where guys are going to go this year. Yeah, but you have to do that if your situation is, let's say one of these teams has...
