but I will not do that anymore. Jason, you're on the clock. So a couple of years ago, and I would say this is like six years ago, we talked about it. We put out articles about it. What a cheat code drafting year two wide receivers was. No matter how, they just never moved up ADP enough. And like half a decade ago. Until last year. Well, that's. It was the worst thing ever. The actual, it's not just last year. It's the last couple years, second year wide receivers have not really returned on their value the way that they used to. And it's part of that's ADP.

Part of that's maybe the progression of the actual players. But what we've seen recently is that third year wide receivers are the ones that are actually surprisingly hitting. And so I'm going to, I mean, I know, look, I'm just scooping up every guard, every player that like, I don't want Rome. He's not going to be good. Oh, Mike Evans is old. Marvin Harrison Jr. Welcome to the club. Um, it, all I need is Rome or Marv. One of these two top 10 third year wide receivers who should and could be the leader of their team, uh, to hit. And then my, my team is loaded.

If either one of them, uh, hit, if both of them hit, then I'm ecstatic. All right. No one, it was like, no one's willing to DK Metcalf. Take a third punch in the face from Marv like Jason. No, I will. I'll take it. So you took Marv. Brooksy took Jadarian price. That's a tremendous value. Kyle takes DJ more. Kyle seems to be the most willing to, to, to see the potential upside for DJ more of, of our group. I refuse to see it. Um, and it, it, it, it definitely feels like, Oh, I could be wrong. Honestly, I thought about taking DJ more here because I have Josh Allen.

Like, Hey, if DJ more comes through, take that stack. I just really don't believe it. So I'm not going to do it. This is a, this is a drafter. I'm just taking things more on, on what I, I believe will happen. So DJ more goes, Alec Pierce goes to Papa. Josh bets. Oh, I was sweating on bets. His pick for a little bit. Cause I was, I and Harold Fannin that entire run. Yeah. Uh, hate to hate everything about his situation except for the fact that he is very good and he can be the, he, he could be the number one target for Cleveland with while we're,

we're sorting it like Casey Concepcion and, uh, and Boston first and second round picks for Cleveland. They're getting really good press over the off season. I just saw another blurb like, well, hold on. At least for the beginning of the year, Jerry Judy will still be the number one wide receiver, which is what I say. It's what I say to that. But Harold Fannin could end up being the guy. I saw a sweat in Jay. Yeah. And then he takes DK Metcalf. And so you have to, DK Mike calf. You have to, you were so happy. I was so happy.

Yeah. I was so happy to not only see my guy come through, but a guy who I will just won't. I'm not. You would never, I think it would be the 11th round and you'd be like, be like, no, thank you. Yeah. You'd be like, give me a Stefan digs. So, uh, if the, the turns, they still have their, their tight ends. If they want to take, uh, another guy, then go ahead. But I will take the player who I think I've talked about more than anyone in this. It's an off season. I'll take JK Dobbins here. Starting quarter or running back for the Broncos.

Dobbins is like running backs really deplete quickly. And once all of the main starters are gone, like we, we took in a couple of rounds ago, the, the Henderson, Montgomery, Judkins, we kind of, uh, Tyler Warren, we scooped up like the last of all of it. And then way later in a draft usually is just Dobbins sitting there as like the last great pick at running back. And it's one of those, like every round you got to be sweat. If you, if you're really weak at running back or you went elsewhere and you, you know, you went here, RB, I just watch him in drafts and go, man, I, I hope he gets to me.

It was a great pick. Wait, Betts. Did you mean to take DK Metcalf? I guess you're probably, he said, no, who are you going to take bet? That's funny. Who were you going to take? The world has to know. Metcalf was, Oh, you were going to take Fannin? Situation. What a loser. Oh man. Hold on. Harold Fannin. Thank you. Oh, you fat thump DK Metcalf. Man, lose some weight. Betts. Why don't you go run another Ironman? Do a full Ironman. Yeah, do a full one. You did a half Ironman. Oh man, you're half, half a man. Okay. So I took Dobbs.

I hope people understand what an Ironman is because there's nothing greater than denigrating an accomplishment like running a half Ironman. It feels so good to make fun of doing something that was just half. Yeah. I shout at you covered in chips laying on my couch with my shirt riding and my tummy hanging up. I got to unbutton that. Do a full one, you loser. Okay. So I took Dobbins. Then it went Chuba Hubbard and Makai Lemon to close out the round. The Falcon takes Jackson Dart as his quarterback. Don't mind that there. Jordan Addison goes to Al. I took, I sprinted to the podium and I took Harold Fannin.

Betts takes Tony Pollard. Oh. D.K. Metcalf followed up by Tony Pollard. He's taking all your favorites, Mike. Dude. Matthew. Get some help. Yeah. It's okay, man. Go outside. Get some sun on your face. Good Lord. Uh, Papa Josh takes Jonathan Brooks. Josh Downs took to Kyle. Brooksy takes Jerry Rice, AKA Michael Wilson of the Arizona Cardinals. Jason, you are on the clock. This is so weird. It's going to happen again. It happened the last mock draft at six o'clock this morning. Just had the AM. The AM, 6, 19 AM to be precise. I, uh, yeah, Kyle says it was early.

I texted Kyle because I just was thinking about this player and I was like, Kyle, what's, give me the ADP for the last three years for Sam Laporta. Because I, I spent a lot of this off season talking about how, what a bad pick Laporta is. Yeah, you have. And I, and I, I really believed it and meant it because Sam Laporta two years ago was in the third round. So last year, Sam Laporta was in the fifth round. And to start this off season, Sam Laporta was always the fifth tight end off the board. He was always the fifth tight end off the board.

It was the big four. And then Laporta was like the next man up. It's not happening that way anymore. It's really not. Now you're talking about, I mean, look at this draft. You've had Tucker Craft, George Kittle, and Harold Fannin go off the board. We're in the ninth round. At that point, I, I think, you know, Laporta is in a situation for a team has the talent, has the touchdown opportunities where he probably should be the fifth tight end off the board. That's where I don't want to take him because if he's the fifth tight end off the board and

I'm giving up a, a, a Roma Dunes, a, or a Judkins to take him, I'm not going to. But right now what I'm giving up, you know, if I'm looking, you know, I'm looking at the wide receivers and it's Ricky Pearsall, Chris Cowan, Jacoby Myers, like, you know, some of them can, can come through, but I'm not excited about them. So I, I really do think Sam Laporta has gone from a player that. Oh, the turd emojis are flying. I'm sure I could never guess who that would be. What? Who has the turd, the turd toilet? Yeah. That's, that's the, what time did you wake up this?

About six in the morning. Okay. So 6 a.m. is Rabbi's foggy room. I woke up at 6.10. I went to the. So nine minutes? I. After waking up, you're like, you know what? That's Sam Laporta. It was actually. His ADP's all right. It was actually five minutes. The, the answer came at 6.19. It was 6.15 when I sent the message. I can tell you my morning. I woke up. I went to the bathroom. Woke up this morning. Think about Laporta. I peed sitting down as, you know, I will do in the morning. Yeah, you can rest. Every time. And then while I'm scrolling on my phone with my morning pee, I was thinking fantasy football.

That's what I do. And they're like, you know what? Sam Laporta is like, he's a, he is a good player in a good situation. You were doing the Laporta potty. Oh my goodness. I was, I was literally doing the Laporta potty. Oh man. And so it came to fruition. I think, you know, if he's at the ninth round, that's, that's a. All right. Go so far as to say it's a great. After Laporta, Jules takes huge baby Jake, Cortland Sutton to finish the ninth. He opens the 10th with Kyle Pitts. Disgusting. You got to take someone, I guess. Julia takes Dak as her quarterback.

Jason, you're back up. So. We have three picks left. Three picks left. I'm looking at my roster. I've got three running backs in Jonathan Taylor, Ashton, Gentey, Quinchon Judkins. Really happy there. My wide receivers, I started later, but I liked them in Garrett Wilson, Mike Evans, Robo Dunze, and Marvin Harrison. They're not as strong. I don't have like the elite, elite, you know, Puka Nakua, Jamar Chase, JSN type of player. So I think I need to take more shots at wide receiver. And when I'm taking shots at wide receiver, it's different, different ways to think about it. Right? Like Michael Pittman is out there.

I like Michael Pittman. I think he leads the team in targets. He's going to be short to the line of scrimmage, not high upside. Aaron Rodgers is not going to throw a ton of touchdowns. So I don't know that he fits my mold of like. Michael Pittman. Higher, lower than 8.1 yards per catch. I'll go higher. Okay. You could have made that a little. I think he's. I was trying to find a number that's low, but not comically low. Right. I think if you gave me like 9.5, that'd be a tough line. Okay. Um, so I'm, I'm really looking now.

I'm not looking at, um, players that have a good baseline like, uh, Jacoby Myers, good player. Uh, Wanda Robinson, good player, but I don't think they can break out and be something special. So when I'm looking at someone that could break out and be something special, I am really looking at, uh, young players, Casey Concepcion. Sure. Um, I'm looking at players whose opportunity and past have shown like Jaden Reed, Jaden Reed with, uh, the departure of Romeo Dobbs. Uh, the fact that he has been really good on the field before. I'm just hoping he gets more involved. And then of course you could take Matthew Golden.

I'm going to take one of those two. So let's talk about that. Matthew Golden and Jaden Reed. Matthew Golden will be on the field in two wide receiver sets. Jaden Reed is better than Matthew Golden. So how, how, how am I supposed to interpret that? The, the most difficult thing for Green Bay receivers over the last couple of years has been the, the, the, just the overall utilization of, of getting guys in certain roles, really heavily rotating your, your crew. So I feel like, okay, I know my pick. I feel like when, now that they've cleared house that I think it will be mostly Watson

and Matthew Golden on the field. I, I, I agree with you. I think it will be mostly Watson and Golden on the field. I still think that Jaden Reed can break out and Matthew Golden can break out. However, I think there's a good chance that Matthew Golden pick is lighting it on fire. I think it just might not be good. And it could be lighting on fire. I don't think Jaden Reed is lighting it on fire. Um, and, and my team could just use another, like maybe he's not the best, but he's usable. Great. Um, but I do think that he has the talent potential team opportunity, um, and vacated targets where

he could step up and, and, and be special. So you went with Jaden Reed, Jaden Reed, Kyle Monungay went next to Brooks. I don't, that's great. Actually. Monungay in the 10th. I think Monungay, you know, I'm very in on DeAndre Swift, but I, you have to admit what the real numbers were. They were, it was, it was a split by the end. I just prefer DeAndre Swift with, with the juice and the pass catching, but like there, there's definitely a world where Kyle Monungay takes more of a, of a role away from Swift this year. So him in the 10th, I think that's great.

Concepcion to Kyle, Papa Josh, Chris Godwin. I think that's a sensational pick. We got news, uh, per or via the Netflix quarterback show that Baker got hurt in like week two. Uh, Kyle, if you could track down exactly what he, what the injury that they've said that they were, that he was suffering from or bets, if you've got it. MCL and PCL springs. That's what it was, Betsy. It's like Baker was very hurt and Baker, unfortunately how tough he is, which this is the exact same thing happened in Cleveland. Baker played through so much injury instead of taking the time off to heal that he had

to, they kicked him out of Cleveland because his play got so bad because he was so hurt two years ago, you know, three quarters of the way through the season. Baker Mayfield is getting MVP chance for the stadium last year. Yes. He lost Liam Cohen, but he just, he looked real, real bad. Well, from week two on, he was dealing with some, some very severe injuries. The bucks bouncing back in the, that's all, you know, that's a buka and everything too. But Chris Godwin from reports of the off season, he's going to be in the slot. He might go right back into being like, you might get one more vintage year of Chris Godwin

was my entire diet. I think, I think you could, um, obviously he's much older, not as explosive coming off, you know, the injury. So, um, yeah, I mean the opportunity is there for him with Mike Evans gone and we've seen him do it. We, we know that one of the best predictors of future success is past success. So I am going to look at a player here who last year, he opened the year with 108 yards followed by 56, followed by 117 yards and then gets hurt, misses a bunch of games, but then comes back and he closes the season with six for 96 and five for 85.

He has not been talked about very much on this show, but I'm opening my heart a little bit to Ricky Pearsall, former first round pick for the San Francisco 49ers. I mean, his, you know, Mike Evans. There's no chance I would not have taken Ricky Pearsall over Jaden Reed if I didn't have Mike Evans. Like, Oh, okay. Well, there you go. I mean, at this point in a draft, that is a really good pick. A former number one, a former first round wide receiver for a team that desperately needs someone, uh, who has shown in, in small blips that he was good, but just got injured.

And unfortunately he has a pretty good bit on the show, which is more of a derogatory, uh, Ricky mouse. Yeah. Hey everybody. It's me, Ricky. Oh boy. Uh, it doesn't help things. It doesn't, it doesn't help me have a positive association with that, but I think we need to at least be open to Ricky. Al takes Michael Pittman. Falcon takes RJ, dude, RJ Harvey. Yeah. What have we done? I mean, I don't think he'll go. What have we done to RJ Harvey? I don't think he'll go this low everywhere else. The, so we talk about, we do these, we do these mock drafts with all humans so that we

can get realistic drafts. However, that means that the people we have in here, they're part of our crew. They're part of our hive all the time. They're part of our hive. They're part of our bubble. And so the anti RJ Harvey talk has just infected everyone here. I think in your average draft, RJ Harvey will go much, much higher. And so Harvey goes then followed by Matthew golden followed by Rico Dowdle to owl, which I think that's a great pick as well. I am back on the clock. I, we are now at the time of the draft where I need to take a running back either from Minnesota
